Here's a few thoughts on this Thursday about life, sports, school, kids and more:
- I ordered tickets for a Tigers games. Josh & I are going to see them play the Red Sox later this month. Should be fun.
- NBA Finals Prediction with the Heat vs. Spurs...if D Wade can actually play, Heat in 5. If his knee is still screwed up, Heat in 7. Spurs aren't a good match up for the Heat.
- Kids finished Spring Soccer this past Saturday. Both kids teams were undefeated. Emma's team won an U8 girls tournament for 1st place. Proud of my kids & their teams for playing hard while having fun.
- Steph went with Emma to her field trip today. Field Day tomorrow for Emma. Steph is done tomorrow but Emma has to go to the 12th. Summer is almost here.
- Has anyone started the petition yet for schools to have summer break go from Memorial Day to Labor Day?
- I remember being a kids wishing to grow up. Now I wish I could have summer break and no worries again. We've had a bunch some stuff lately like dealing with the city for a fence in our backyard, our escrow account messed up our tax payment, nails in car tires, gas prices out the roof, and other blah blah stuff. Being an adult isn't always that great.
- I am planning to ride my bike more this summer. Good exercise and no gas needed.
- Eli is all about Lego right now. Good fun.
- Free App on iTunes right now is Snoopy Coaster. Kids love it. I thought maybe Michigan's Adventure might be in it, but no.
- I'm hearing rumors of iPhone 6 coming out this month. We are up for a new contract. We'll see if it's any good or if it's just the iPhone 5S.
- Best thing I made lately: cucumber salsa.
- Best thing I ate lately: Pork Dumplings at PF Chang's.
- I have done a bunch of yard work recently...not doing any this weekend! Mowing the yard is the worst part of summer. One year Steph & the kids got my yard service for my birthday/Father's Day gift...speaking as a dad with Father's Day around the corner, that was an awesome gift.
- Speaking for week 2 of the End of the World this week at The Journey. Should be fun. Steph will be singing this song.
Hope you have a great weekend!
