DUMBIES LIKE ME

This past Sunday after church, someone made a comment to me assuming I was intellectual. They were talking about some philosophical & historical thoughts. I tried to crack a joke & but made a reference to the wrong scholar. I proved once again the simple man that I am. Thankfully God uses dumbies like me. 

Acts 4:13 - 

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

How about you? Are you a brianiac or dumbie like me? Either way, it's not about your skills or lack there of...it's about Him. God wants to something big in & through you.

I am definitely with you Matt. I'm not so smart but I know what I know.

1 Corinthians 2:2 says 'For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.'

Even a smarty pants like Paul chose to be a dummy for the sake of the gospel of Jesus.
